Atlas

Iron and manganese in an Andean geological setting

A project combining historical geological and mining background with contemporary technical interpretation tools.

Project framework

Geological context

Building a progressively stronger understanding.

Atlas brings together iron and manganese exploration targets. Available background information is treated as a starting point for understanding the lithological, structural and territorial setting of known mineral occurrences.

The work integrates geological mapping, historical documentation, GIS analysis, satellite imagery, digital terrain models and field observations before considering more advanced programs.

The objective at this stage is to improve interpretation and prioritize areas or questions that warrant more detailed study, without anticipating technical or economic conclusions.

Properties

Two properties. One integrated analytical framework.

01

Atlas I

A property with iron exploration interest. The current strategy prioritizes interpretation of its lithological and structural setting and the geological controls on mineralization.

Background for exploration guidance
02

Atlas II

A property primarily focused on manganese, studied in conjunction with Atlas I while preserving the independence of each mineral model.

03

Methodology

Technical evaluation

Hypotheses, evidence and next steps.

01

Critical review of geological and historical background.

02

Integration of mapping, territorial analysis and remote sensing.

03

Technically justified surface reconnaissance.

04

Progressive prioritization of evaluation objectives.
